Paria Network, LLC ("Paira," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application and related services ("Services").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the services.
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information (name, email, school, job title, interests, profile details)
- Profile photos and content you upload
- User-generated content (requests, messages, recommendations, descriptions)
- Optional identity verification materials
- Payment-related information (processed via Apple, Google, or Stripe; we do not store full payment details)
1.2 Information Automatically Collected
We automatically collect:
- Device information (model, OS version, device identifiers)
- App activity (swipes, clicks, requests, matches, session time, engagement metrics)
- IP address and log information
- Crash logs and diagnostics
- Approximate location (for regional relevance; no background GPS without explicit consent)
Collected using SDKs such as: Firebase / PostHog (analytics & diagnostics), Stripe (payments), and Push notification services.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Social login data (if you choose to sign in with Google/Apple)
- Payment confirmation from Apple In-App Purchase / Google Play Billing / Stripe
- Analytics data from third-party tools
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the App
- Provide AI recommendations and matching
- Personalize content and suggestions
- Enable networking and communication functions
- Perform analytics and improve product performance
- Detect fraud, policy violations, or safety risks

Paira does not sell your personal data.

- Push notifications
These providers are contractually required to safeguard your data.
3.2 Other Users
Your public profile, posted requests, and recommendations may be visible to other users according to your settings.
Private messages are visible only to the interacting users.

- Prevent harm, fraud, or abuse
- Protect Paira, users, or the public
4. Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Camera (for profile photos and verification)
- Photos (for uploading profile pictures)
- Notifications (for messages and match alerts)
- Location (optional, for regional recommendations)
You may manage permissions in iOS Settings → Paira.
5. Data Retention
We retain data:
- As long as your account remains active
- As needed for fraud detection or legal compliance
- Backups may persist for up to 90 days after deletion
You may request deletion at any time.
6. Data Security
We implement:
- Encrypted communication (HTTPS)
- Limited employee access controls
- Secure cloud storage
- Regular security monitoring
No method is fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Depending on your location, you may:

8. Account & Data Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via: App → Settings → Delete Account
Upon deletion:
- Your profile is removed
- Some content (e.g., messages already sent) may remain visible to others
- Backup copies may be retained temporarily for security and legal purposes
9. Children's Privacy
Paira is not intended for users under 16 years old.
We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we collected data from a user under 16, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via App notification or email.
